We at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary–St. Stephen Parish (SHSS) strive to foster and teach the Roman Catholic faith within our church and throughout our community. Our local traditions are born out of the strong identity we have as the Diocese’s first Italian Parish.  Building on those traditions, and housed in our historic church building, we look to the past to ground us and the future to inspire us. We are committed to being a center of religious, cultural and social life for everyone in South Brooklyn, and a point of reference for believers throughout the tri-state area. We hope to be a symbol of Catholic life and Christ among his people, to make a difference and to grow closer to God.
